B |     New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 90th Interpol General Assembly on Tuesday at around 1:45 PM in Pragati Maidan here.

The 90th General Assembly of Interpol will be held from 18th to 21st October.

The meeting will be attended by delegations from 195 Interpol member countries comprising of Ministers, Police Chiefs of countries, Heads of National Central Bureaus and Senior police officers, the PMO said.

The General Assembly is Interpol's supreme governing body and meets once a year to take key decisions related to its functioning.

The Interpol General Assembly meeting is taking place in India after a gap of about 25 years – it was last held in 1997.

India's proposal to host the Interpol General Assembly in 2022 at New Delhi coinciding with celebrations for 75th year of India’s independence was accepted by the General Assembly with overwhelming majority.

The event provides an opportunity to showcase best practices in India’s law and order system to the entire world, the PMO said.

Union Home Minister, Interpol President Ahmed Naser Al Raisi and Secretary General Jurgen Stock, CBI Director will also be present on the occasion.

C | 9月21日至22日，市委宣传部、抚顺军分区、市关工委、市教育局在辽宁省国防教育示范基地——抚顺聚力野战拓展训练基地，开展为期两天的青少年国防教育实训体验研学活动，来自抚顺市多所小学的学生参加了体验活动，进一步提升青少年国防意识，激发爱国情怀。         　　9月21日上午8时30分，全国国防教育示范学校——新抚区公园一校的40余名学生来到抚顺聚力野战拓展训练基地，参加实训体验研学活动。3个半小时时间里，孩子们观看了爱国主义国防教育宣传片，学习了持枪瞄准射击基本要领，参加了野战对抗训练、有阵地对抗战和山地丛林战，进行了胸环靶、翻倒靶、火箭筒射击、障碍穿越射击等打靶训练，观摩了坦克、装甲车、高射炮等大型武器装备。

D |          　　活动中，抚顺聚力野战拓展训练基地邀请退伍军人担任教官，全程指导孩子们完成活动。孩子们以军人标准要求自己，积极认真参加各项训练，在体验活动中增强了国防意识，激发了爱国热情，掌握了基本军事技能，展现了良好的精神状态。

E |          　　新抚区公园一校校长罗红艳介绍，为扎实做好国防教育，学校开设了国防教育校本课程，让国防教育走进校园，走进课堂。学校开展唱起来：唱好国歌、军歌；动起来：打好乒乓球，增强体能素质；请进来的国防专题讲座；走出去的实践活动等。沉浸式国防教育活动，帮助青少年进一步强化国防意识，厚植家国情怀。         　　市委宣传部相关负责人表示，近年来，抚顺市始终将青少年国防教育放在重要位置，充分发挥全市国防教育各类阵地作用，开展一系列青少年国防教育活动。未来将继续开展形式多样的国防教育活动，普及青少年国防知识，增强国防意识，为实现中国梦、强军梦贡献力量。                    责任编辑：李丹。
